Amelia Newcomb Dressage is hiring for 1 position in our growing company. We’re an online learning platform that services thousands of students and followers around the world. Amelia’s mission is “Dressage for all.” We work to build positive, confident, communication with your horse through accessible education, community, and support. We provide quality riding education to anyone who wishes to learn, regardless of where they live, the horse they have, or their financial status. Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: Remote

Job Type: Part-time

Salary:  Hourly, based on experience ($20-$25/hr)

Availability: Must be available during standard business hours for PT zone, and some weekends.

About Us:

We are a dynamic and growing company looking for a proactive Administrative Assistant to support our team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for organization, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle administrative tasks, including customer service, data entry, document preparation, and proof reading.
  • Maintain a filing system and organized content and materials.
  • Organize calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
  • Organize and Compile data for projects and presentations.
  • Monitor and Engage with our social media accounts to enhance our online presence.
  • Assist with customer relations emails, prioritizing correspondence and drafting responses as needed.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including online shopping and appointment scheduling.
  • Email management and organization
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure smooth operations.

Additional Responsibilities depending on skill set:

  • Basic video editing for marketing and promotional purposes
  • Event planning and coordination
  • Proof reading and editing
  • Financial Operations Assisting: Assisting with invoicing, expense tracking, bill paying

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software (zoom, asana, gmail, video editing software).
  • Tech-savvy with a willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
  • Trustworthy and able to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Experience operating in social media platforms.
  • Some weekend availability is required
  • Prior experience in similar administrative role an asset.
  • Knowledge of the Equine industry an asset
