Yes! The Training Scale works on every single horse. No matter the breed, age, or discipline you ride, the training scale helps your horse learn a more correct posture to carry themselves in to do the job that is asked of them.
The purpose of every single dressage test is based on the Training Scale. The tests increase in difficulty based on principles from the Training Scale. Every test sheet states the purpose, which always references the Training Scale. Training Level focuses on the first three levels and as you progress up the levels the purpose of each test incorporates more elements. Use the Training Scale to plan your daily ride, and to understand the expected development of your horse year to year.
You will have lifetime access to the material! While the LIVE Facebook group and the guided live feedback in office hours is only during the course period (through October 2025), you will always have access to the material to keep working away at it!
No, this program and the training scale is for all horses. Please note that some younger or older horses might have to focus more on the lower half of the Training Scale during this stage in their development.
All the time! The program is set up so you can work with your horse only a couple days a week or in a full training program. Consistency is key but even a few rides a week can show you a difference in a short period of time.
You should still join! This course is chalk full of valuable information that you have LIFETIME access to! So you can go through it whenever you want -and at whatever pace you want. Plus I won’t be offering the course until next year!

Yes, but how much depends on when you last participated in this masterclass.
Every time I host a new cohort of the Training Scale Masterclass, I go through the material and refresh some the videos, lectures etc, so it it is always at least a LITTLE bit different. And if you participated in a cohort prior to 2023, it is VERY different because I re-produced all the videos and course content that year.
The biggest benefit of taking this masterclass again is the weekly video review sessions. In fact, about 25% of enrollment are riders participating for a second or third time.

Yes and No. The exercise videos are all pre-recorded. But the Lectures and Office Hours are run LIVE for you to ask questions in real time. Plus, those LIVE sessions are recorded for you to watch again later.
That’s ok! I have a lot of online students that weren’t comfortable with technology or who had never uploaded a video before starting my program who are now participating fully. I’ve got a great support team and lot’s of ‘how to’ processes to help you make the most out of the course. I won’t let technology hold you back from making progress in your riding!
