I am excited to announce a new initiative that I am launching, and your local dressage group can get in on the action!
Amelia’s Grassroots Giving Back Fund
As you know, my mantra is ‘Dressage for All’. I believe that every rider, regardless of their horse’s breed, saddle you ride in, discipline, or where you live: every horse and rider can do (and benefit) from dressage.
During the last few years, a few local dressage-focused organizations have asked for donations for their year-end fundraisers (usually as a silent auction item), which I have readily given.
And it got me thinking: there are hundreds of small, local organizations, clubs, and non-profits that support dressage education at a smaller, local scale. Those organizations are the foundation and grassroots of our sport.
These organizations are the ones putting on schooling shows, bringing in clinicians, and creating a love of dressage in riders. These grassroots organizations are usually run by volunteers and rely on the support of the local community to keep running. Without them, we don’t have dressage in our local communities.
Which is what the Amelia’s Grassroot Giving Back Fund is all about. This is a way that I can support and give back to the grassroots organizations that do so much for our sport.
I have allocated 100 online workshops to give out to grassroots dressage organizations this year (to be used in silent auctions, given out with a year-end award, etc).
If you know a local organization that could make use of an online workshop, please forward them this email and connect them with me at support@migrate.amelianewcombdressage.com
Here’s the information I need from them:
- To verify they are a non-profit organization that shares or supports my mission of “dressage for all”
- Is willing to feature my website and/or logo in any marketing material
- Can provide receipt or proof of donation
I love dressage and helping riders like you on their riding journey. And giving back to grassroots organizations that do the same thing makes my heart soar.
Thank you for being here and supporting “Dressage for All”. If you know of an organization that could make use of a donation, please forward this email to them.
Happy Riding,
Amelia
