Rain, Wetness, and Mud at the Horseshow! Tips for Competing Dressage in Challenging Conditions

Rain, Wetness, and Mud at the Horseshow

Sometimes at dressage shows, or any horse show, you have to deal with difficult weather conditions.

It is always important to put the safety for the rider and the horse first, but sometimes you just have to suck it up and ride even if it’s not perfect.

In this video I ride my 8 year old, Gatsby (Sir Donnerhall x Jazz) in the Developing Prix St. George for Dressage horses.

It was very wet and splashy and we had only a small area to warm up but he was super!!

I hope you enjoy this video!
