I don’t know about you but I am really looking forward to the summer Olympics this year in Paris. We still don’t know which combinations will make it but it is always incredibly inspiring to see the top horses and riders in the world competing. The harmony, balance and lightness demonstrated by these incredible horse and human athletes is so inspiring! When you think about it, our sport is incredibly unique because it relies on the relationship between a human and an animal. As an avid horse lover and rider, I’m a firm believer that we must support and encourage the equestrian sports and horsemanship. Sometimes I worry that as we spend more and more time on our phones and computers, riding and horses could disappear.
