Before we get started with this week’s video, I wanted to remind you about my new Masterclass Flying Changes Made Simple!
This is an awesome new course that goes over the exact steps you need to ride flying changes!
In this week’s video, German helps Caine prepare for and execute some beautiful Flying Changes. In order to prepare for the flying changes, German works with Caine on:
- Walk canter walk transitions to get the canter collected
- Transitions forward and back in the canter to improve the quality of the canter
- Simple changes to practice seeing up from one lead to the next!
After a lot of preparation, Caine is able to execute a beautiful clean change. The basics and the preparation honestly are the most important part of the changes. It is so important that you take the time to establish the canter that you need and to make sure that your horse is on the aids before you try a flying change!
If you need even more help with your changes (or if you want to see the rest of this lesson) don’t miss out on the brand new course – Flying Changes Made Simple.
Happy Riding!
